The device turns off after a few hours.

double bed bought. Little did I know that electric blankets are expensive in general and I finally chose this product because it costs less. The duvet is very soft and comfortable. The wire covers most of the area (but not corner to corner) for 1 person and heats up quickly. 3 heat settings are enough (I mostly set them to low). So far so good, but one question or complaint. The device turns off after a few hours. Is it a standard or defective?
