It's becoming a well-known fact that the brand's magnetic 'Z-Palettes' palettes aren't that great for the money, so I looked at this guy to buy my first Palette. - I'm so glad I did! The entire palette feels pretty solid, with a massive magnetic clasp that I definitely appreciate and not have to worry about opening if I'm clumsy. The outer material is prone to dings as it has a silky smooth finish - if that's important to you. I always decorate everything with stickers or paint anyway, so I don't care. In fact, it may not be very convenient for travel. This would be pretty beat cosmetically with legal travel. I would still rely on my products being protected and their structure preserved! The mirror is huge and "real" (not flimsy deformable reflective plastic) but it's a little annoying to think about propping it up as it's not fully attached to the pallet. if it makes sense? However, it folds all the way back and sits on the back of the pallet, which might be helpful for others. The space for the jar and brush is deep enough to fit even a large baked facial highlighter, and two of my small double-ended eye brushes fit into the brush slot when needed. The double-ended brush that comes with this palette is actually quite nice with very soft bristles, but the brush heads themselves are very large, which confused me at first. In the end I found that I actually prefer to "blend" the end to apply over my main lid color and especially to clean up or blend the edges. Save possibly corrupted/broken shadows. I've received emails from their support team from time to time thereafter, just reaching out and offering help and perks which I think were kind enough to mention the company - I'm just super forgetful and disorganized with those things so i don't ' no answer lol. I think this is a great magnetic palette, especially for regular people - even if you're just starting out while accumulating things to find what works for you. Seriously think about it!
