Review on Graco Sharpe 288880 FX3000 Paint Spray by Danny Lavimodiere

High quality at an affordable price

I have been working in a paint and restoration shop for about 10 years. I draw some from the side and have been doing it since I was young. On the side, I've always used cheap paint guns, and when I go to work I use Iwata guns. In my opinion, Iwata guns spray well without a doubt. Apply a nice pattern and evenly distribute metallics and pearls. Here is my problem. My buddy asked me to paint his truck, colors to choose from, silver and black tuxedo (lots of pearls and metallics). Because of this, I didn't want to use a cheap $50 airbrush. Started looking for a decent gun and came across this Sharpe. The reviews I read were excellent and the shape of the gun is similar to Iwata pistols so I decided to pull the trigger. (No pun intended) I walked over it when I arrived, I liked the shape, I liked the feel and I really liked the performance. This spray gun is a lot cheaper than the Iwata but sprays just as well in my opinion. Pearls and metallics lay evenly and I have no complaints. This is a fantastic gun, not too expensive but works like a quality airbrush. The only problem I have is that I accidentally ordered the wrong nozzle size. It was my fault, but it still worked great. Fantastic product.
