The plastic handles were a little flimsy. I've only used steel brushes so far, but they work pretty well and it took a while for them to start flexing. They're not the best quality but came with 3 steel and 3 brass brushes and it was pretty cheap. So if you need a cheap set for a few small things, or to keep you busy until you get a few good ones, this is great.
