It's beautiful but not stunning. PRO: It looks like it pulls dust out of the air. The pre-filter is already very dusty. From what I've read, this is a good quality HEPA filter. Changing the filter is not too expensive and lasts a long time. The pre-filter is washable. He's not ugly. It cleans up nicely. Small footprint. It had a good hit at high frequencies - it can work for airflow and as a fan. Filters are easily accessible. The display backlight turns off automatically, so it's not bright. CONS: It's quite loud at high frequencies. I would compare it to a microwave fan. I don't leave it on when I'm home, but turn it on (if I remember) when I go out for the day. Then turn it down to 2 when I get home if the noise bothers me. It doesn't automatically adjust to the environment, so I have to manually zoom in and out. There is no remote control. Note: I actually set this up in my office facing the wall as I didn't want air blowing through my office and when I look at it facing the wall the air dissipates rather than blowing directly at me (still has some power from the air intake, but I'm not that cold because the air is blowing straight at me!) Also, I'd prefer to suck the air out of the main part of the room rather than from the back closer to the wall to move in. So the uglier side is on the outside but kinda in the corner so it doesn't matter. I find this allows me to place it closer to the wall as well while allowing air to pass through more efficiently. Decent for the money but I'd like to see some sort of remote control or automatic settings at this price point.
