Very good for very specific needs

As others have pointed out this arrow is great if you have very specific needs and understand the ins and outs of what the arrow offers. I needed something that I believe could be attached to the back of my desk and swing under my monitor. There aren't many hands that can offer that, and this one does. Buyers should be aware that while the arm is adjustable, it is not dynamically adjustable via springs or pneumatics. It uses a serrated cocking mount and once you lock your arm it stays there. For my purposes this is perfect. I love that the table clamp has a tension knob and that it can be optional - it allows me to rotate my hand to use it or away from the table without loosening or tightening anything. In terms of quality, the arm is definitely solid, although some of the extension mounts wobbled slightly so I actually had to lock them. It's okay, but it's understandable that when you use it like I did, it bounces or wobbles a bit. The various appendices were very helpful. I use a wide studio mic and needed a 5/8 attachment that connected easily. In fact, the only reason I've ever snapped a star that would be half a star at best is that if you're using a mic like me that has jacks or connectors on the bottom, rubber feet for the ball mount will block access Completely. Luckily it was detachable and the mount still holds my mic in place. No more cable problems!
