As you can see from the picture, I was looking for an inverter for my portable generator. I thought I had finally found the perfect one. Good size, I like the display and the good price. I was very happy to test this product. The highest was a 1600w fryer. I like, like the ad. Love the fact that it shows that power delivery is a huge plus. Negative. - Only 1 negative and it's huge. Fan management is terrible and fan noise is terrible. First, the fans are damn loud. It's as loud as my deep fryer and hair dryer and that says a lot. At first I said I could get over it because it has everything I wanted, but it's so damn loud. Second, not only are the fans loud, but the management of the fans is terrible. I had a 75 LED TV and the power never exceeded 300 watts, but the fans kept running throughout the movie. For a 2 hour movie it turned on about 5-6 times. Here's the worst (if it's not already bad), I turned off the TV and the display showed 0 watts but the fans started up again. 2-3 times after the TV has been off for more than an hour. Why the heck do the fans turn on when the inverter is ZERO loaded? Why would it turn on at all if the load is under 300W? This is easily a 5 star inverter for all the features and price, but it's true that I'm deducting 3 stars for the terrible fan control and noise. I actually had a Kripol 2000w inverter running the same TV for 5 hours and the fans never came on. If so, then my wife and I didn't notice because we never talked about it. Unfortunately I had to return it as the form factor didn't fit my portable power generator. And Revain doesn't seem to be wearing it anymore. I think this inverter is doomed to make a comeback. If you think I'm exaggerating I could do a follow up with a video to show how loud it is.
