Before this purchase I bought several different electronic thermometers. All had different indications. I bought Braun earphones, a Braun infrared headband and two versions of the forehead reader, all of which were terribly inaccurate. I noticed that Rite-Aide uses this brand to test patients before vaccinations, so I figured if it's good enough for professionals, let's try it. I was skeptical because this $33 bulk pack of three was a third the price of some I've already bought that broke right after opening...but I'm happy to report that all of them three are very accurate! I followed the instructions: charge the batteries and let the device sit for 10 minutes before taking the temperature... All readings were stable and accurate... I highly recommend this brand and model.
