The leather is very high quality, the accessories are strong. The appearance is fully consistent with the image on the site. It's a bit long on purpose and they give you a little metal punch so you can trim the length a bit if you need to. After that, the punch allows you to make the main hole exactly where you want. I got the 36 inch strap and I'm glad it's a bit longer so I didn't shorten it. The holes it has are where you would expect them to be on a 36 inch belt.
