I have been adding CO2 to my planted aquarium for almost twenty years now. I have seen many diffusers and made them myself. When my homemade diffuser stopped after five years, I wanted to try something different. I bought this diffuser because I liked the idea of replacing the stone at the end of the stick. I've tried and broken many expensive big brand glass designs, so I decided to give this one a try. At the time of writing, he had been in the water for three days. This morning I noticed that my PH level hasn't dropped and the diffuser hasn't released any bubbles. When I installed it three days ago, it started bubbling, although not as finely as the list here. However, my PH dropped to a good level so I was hopeful. No fog, no bubbles today. I am extremely disappointed. I love the stainless steel construction (albeit without enough uptime to appreciate the stainless steel quality) and the idea of a spare stone, but plugging it in after just three days gets me ready to go back to my homemade in-tank brew pump. Luckily I know this is a cheap product, but how expensive do stainless steel tubing and ceramic bricks really have to be? Three days is a failure at any cost.
