I keep it by the bed, next to me on the couch and in my purse. After 2. After 6 months of chemo my lips dry like desert sand no matter how much water I drink or what time of year. During chemo, they talked about chapstick all day. I went through the tubes in a week. I get up to 3 packs every 3 months so all my patches add up to a tube a month. My last chemo was a few years old and while she's been getting better I don't think she'll ever really get "better". Funnily enough they sell a million dry lip products and my oncologist said NO. Hygienic lipstick only. It's the best and least annoying thing you will find. This is not a beauty pageant, but a fight against cracked lips. Now, years later, that work is still dying. My lips are struggling with starting to dry out, but since I started using lip balm my lips have not cracked or bled again. The beauty of it all is that it's cheap, feels great on the lips, and IT WORKS!
