Update 04/06/19: After walking 5 miles today I decided to return them. I've used them several times in the past week. When they work they are good, they work fine when I use them at work or around the house, but when I run or hike they get out of step with each other and ALWAYS stutter. They are completely useless and disruptive. They have been updated by Samsung but connection issues persist. Hopefully Samsung can fix these issues in the future, but until then I don't like paying the highest prices for beta testing. Going back to my $20 Chinese headphones they really WORK. I got my Galaxy Buds last Friday the 29th. I was glad to get these as I often use the headphones while working out or just traveling and the $20 Chinese headphone set I used worked well enough, but I wanted to spend some money on really good, really wireless headphones. First Thoughts: Aesthetically they are very nice, they don't hang out of your ears, it actually just looks like you're wearing earplugs or something. They sit comfortably in your ears and come with a variety of different sized rubber pieces so you can really customize the fit. Most importantly, they "lock" themselves in your ears. It's a feature I can't live without. There's nothing I hate more than headphones that fall out on the first run. I used them at home over the weekend. Headphones, phone were on my desk or sometimes in my bag and they worked fine. The sound is decent. I'm not a music lover but I've used both good and bad headphones and these definitely fall into the good category. The app is great, the charging case is handy and easy to use, and the ambient noise "enhancement" works surprisingly well. Now for the cons: I took the buds for a little walk today, nothing special. cell phone in the pocket. They worked fine initially, but as the campaign progressed, they began to periodically turn off. Sometimes one, sometimes the other, sometimes they weren't in sync with each other. I've tried turning them off, turning Bluetooth on and off, and even messing around with sound settings. I tried holding the phone by putting it in another pocket, no matter what I tried it solved the problem for a few seconds at most. By the time I got to the bottom of the trail, the headphones were almost unusable, constantly clipping and stuttering. I had a similar issue with a pair of Chinese Bluetooth headphones and had to return them for a replacement, but now my current pair work perfectly. I'll give the Galaxy Buds another try and update my review, but if this continues and the connectivity is really worse than a $20 pair of headphones, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
