I struggle with "normal", everyday pillows. As you can imagine, travel or camping pillows are even worse! And then, when adding the desirable small, lightweight factor for backpacking, I thought it was hopeless! I took a chance again, and sent for the WellaX inflatable pillow.I blew it up and lay down on my bed at home. Too stiff. It was easy to let a little air out; the valve makes it easy to stop without losing more air unintentionally. Ahh, just right!What about the texture? The sleep surface is decent. I may still put it in a case, but that wouldn't be necessary, because it has a "cloth-like" texture.The seams feel strong and solid; the rubber itself feels durable. I don't expect any leakage for a long, long time.And the size? It's great! It's about the size of my fist (and i have small hands).I am very happy with this purchase (and, FYI, Chillax, very glad that orange is not your only color). :-)
