Review on ASUS VW199T-P Backlit 💻 Monitor with Built-In Speakers, 1440x900 Resolution by Travis Castillo

Just received this from seller Revain KT Parts as an 'open box' for my husband to use as a second monitor with his laptop and it works great! I've previously ordered another ASUS model VE198t from Revain's warehouse, but it works when I'm on my back. As soon as I put it on the stand it stopped working. Needless to say, he was sent back to Revane. I ordered this monitor instead and it is almost identical. The only difference is that it doesn't have an HDMI port, which is fine since DVI and VGA will suffice. The speakers work well enough, only 1W. Much better than the laptop speakers my husband usually uses. Sure, they're very basic, probably not good for gamers or loud music, but they're great for regular computer and internet audio. The screen quality is very clean and clear, and the monitor control buttons are in the front bottom corner instead of below. It tilts back and forth and is fairly low, so it's only slightly higher than the laptop monitor. All in all it is perfect for our needs.
