This journal is gorgeous and worth the cost. I have quite a few Midori traveler journals and while I love them they tend to be a little too small for me when I want to write. Having a very similar journal in a larger A5 size is perfect for me. Everything comes neatly packaged inside of a soft fabric pouch which is placed into a neat box for gifting or safe keeping. The leather is soft and the dark brown color is rich, I didn’t get a strong leather smell (or any other smell for that matter) when I opened it. The journals and such are already put together inside of it when it arrives so you don’t have to fuss with trying to figure out how to keep everything contained and placed. You’ll get three journals; a lined one, plain paper, and a graph one, plus some plastic sleeves one for cards and one zippered pouch.
