I ordered this coat with some hesitation as it is for my very old dog who hates change and has quite a few phobias. He wasn't too pleased when I put the coat on him for the first time but he appreciated it and I have to tell you I really appreciate how easy it is to put on and take off! Just slip it over your dog and fasten it around the neck and belly. There is a small area at the top that lifts to reveal a hole for attaching the leash to the collar, but it's small. I found that there is still room to attach the leash to the collar without messing around with that small area. Be sure to check the sizes carefully! You are VERY accurate! This is a really beautifully tailored coat and well worth the money!
