The device turns on and everything except the part that goes to the TV is small. USB turns on, but there is not enough power to amplify the signal. If you keep plugging and unplugging the USB port, it will spike and get more channels for a moment. This leads me to believe that the USB power it takes must be boosted USB, not conventional. You can't connect it to your TV as advertised and you can't connect it to a USB socket. I have to assume it requires 10-30 amps of power to work properly, not the one amp plug that the TV has. The part is much smaller than I thought. All of this can fit in the palm of your hand. The cable length is too long at both ends, which is likely to affect signal strength. Before connecting I had 120 channels, after connecting it became 9 channels. After removing it and plugging my regular cable back in, I got my channels back. When scanning channels with an amplifier and fighting. I do not recommend or suggest that the manufacturer do any additional research on their product before selling it. I think I spent about $20 on gas to bring to my parents house and help them with the TV.
