Although this SATA-IDE bridge card works to connect a newer SATA drive to an older computer with an IDE controller, the results were correct does not match the product I received. It mounts the drive but sometimes freezes or disconnects during use with no apparent pattern or reason. It's very cheap, with poor quality connectors. I do not recommend this product. Instead, I got lucky with the equivalent KingWin product, which is also available from Revain.
