Several reviews mention the large size and that it does not stay in place. I use Samsung S7. Both comments are correct, the size may not be reflected in the photos and the phone compartment is quite large. However, I have adjusted to it and it is a fair compromise for the overall holder function. As for the free swing arm, you can access the ports by carefully removing the connector where you'll find a hex screw that you can tighten to the desired strength to hold it in place. The reviews also mention that the lock screen system can be problematic, which is true, but again, it's a fair compromise I've settled for. It's definitely waterproof. There's a magnet inside and it's a metal sticker if you want to attach it to your phones to keep it in place. I have a thin case on my phone and when it's closed, the phone fits securely. A thick phone case will not work. The touchscreen works well, although you can't unlock the phone with a fingerprint and the side buttons aren't accessible. Keeping it clean helps the interface. I set the screen timeout to one minute. You should do this on a hot day or the phone will overheat. I have had several different phone holder designs for my bike and this one turned out to be the best. I recommend it.
