Review on 🔦 Xtremevision OEM Replacement Ballast for Hella 5DV 009 610 Xenon HID Ballast - D1S/D1R (Single - 1 PCS) - 2-Year Warranty by Jacob Seymour

In my case this ballast worked fine in my car until it got soaked. After 8 months of use there were no problems until my actions led to water ingress into the headlight unit. Of course, the ballast is not to blame for the short circuit, but before buying, beware of excessive condensation, as this can lead to rapid failure, depending on the amount of accumulated moisture. The design of my car's headlight and the location of the ballast negatively affected its failure and should be different for different cars. However, I contacted customer service and they sent me a new ballast free of charge under warranty. Unfortunately, the specimen sent in was most likely a rarity from the stack as it was defective right out of the box. I would suggest that receiving a defective product is not a common occurrence and yet should be overlooked to some extent as it can be called and rectified quickly. Another email to support resulted in another ballast being shipped free of charge. I don't think my issue should be covered under warranty but the support they gave me was the highest rating I could give them even though its all about the support. I still give the ballast the highest rating for its durability and price.
