Not strong spring in clip

I was glad to buy these because of the size (4.1 inches long) but they feel flimsy in the hand and definitely not for thick hair. If you don't have thick, medium-length hair, they will certainly suit, but if you have long hair, they won't get the job done. I bought a similar version of this that was an inch shorter, but the spring is much stronger and holds my hair better than this one. Wouldn't buy again.
