These lanterns are perfect, exactly what I was looking for! We camp a lot and have a wide variety of flashlights and headlamps and a really nice gas lantern that can light up a whole site when needed. None of these however were what I wanted for the yard so while getting ready for a party this fall I started searching for some battery powered lanterns that could be set around the yard on small tables and would provide light for our guests to see each other. Most of what I found did not list the lumens and it was hard to guess how much light there would be. I also found that most of them were a lot more expensive than these. We ultimately did some research and decided these would likely be the right brightness and they'd be great as we could use at home or while camping/hiking/etc.They worked out perfectly We have a patio that is about 400 sq ft and then another 150 sq ft are where the grill is. I was able to set one lantern by the grill and the other three around the rest of the patio and they gave off the perfect amount of light (all the way late into the night when it was completely dark). We were all able to see each other and the food and drinks and all.Why I love these: price that can't be beat, this is 4 lanterns for what most brands charge for just one / nice looking / small and compact / lightweight and perfect for travel / bright enough to light up a fairly large area/ adjustable brightness
