I can always use a second portable display for my laptop. I like this size. The 15.6-inch screen is very easy to see, yet not too big to carry around. My Surface Pro has a miniDP connector, so I use that to connect the display. The screen quality is pretty good. It's sharp enough that there are no problems reading small texts. Color accuracy is acceptable and they don't push saturation to unrealistic levels like some other display manufacturers do. The magnetic case is very good. It protects the display well without making it too big. I hooked it up to my TiVO via the HDMI port to see how the TV looked and sounded. He had seen a great picture on TV. Pretty generous and wide viewing angle. The sound was unsurprisingly a bit thin. You really can't expect much from such a thin device. The side speakers were loud enough to be heard well in a large room. The same goes for watching YouTube/Netflix. The package also includes a USB power adapter and a USB-A to USB-C cable, a miniDP cable, an HDMI cable, and a USB-C to USB-C cable. They also include a clear plastic screen protector (which I haven't attached yet). My only concern is not being able to bring up the device's OSD if there was no active input at the time. bottom line; I'm sure this will prove to be a handy and versatile display for me.
