So I'm pretty sure it's the same quality as Hobby Lobby or Michaels except the leg is different. It's not so important how you can hide the ends. Some people say the color is perfect, others say they look like an orange. I say both! I'll add a few photos for reference, but basically it's the right color for a really ripe lemon, but when you get them straight they're usually very chalky - uh, bright yellow; so this is really a personal opinion. They look ok next to another lemon, but in my bowl they look a little orange, but definitely not a red orange. My photo is next to a real lemon and a sweet orange. I'm planning to just sponge a little lighter yellow in some spots to brighten them up. Anyway, they're big and fill the bowl pretty easily - I bought two packs but mine was filled with one.
