Review on Say Goodbye To Acne With Cover Dot'S 72-Hydrocolloid Dots - Waterproof Patches For Oil And Pimple Absorption by Marcus Chavva

Basically a get-out-of-jail-free card for habitual pimple poppers

I pick. I admit it. When I get a zit, I will try to pop it. I don't get a ton of zits anymore, so when one does crop up I have to get my fix. Usually it works out, but sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes even if you do manage to pop it, your zit is still raised and angry. That's because you've caused secondary inflammation and lymph fluid is rushing to the area and making swell up and look much worse than it is (that's the clear fluid that zits ooze. gross, yup). That's where these things come in. Now, if you're cheap, you can go to any drugstore and purchase hydrocolloid bandages (which are generally marketed for blisters), cut them to size, and use them on your zit instead, and you'd be doing essentially the same thing as using these. However, these bandages are thinner, nearly invisible, and can, when your zit is in an inconspicuous place like near your hairline or jawline, be worn in public. I also find that wearing these prevents me from touching the zit and making it worse. Generally, I wear these at night, but I also wear them during the day if I'm not going anywhere. As an occasional zit-haver, this pack lasts me quite a while. However, your mileage may vary. What these do: absorb lymphatic drainage from inflamed pimples, which flattens them. What these do not do: Fix a ton of damage that you have caused by picking in time for your hot date in 5 hours. If you have a huge issue on your face right now and you need to look presentable tomorrow and you have already picked at it, go to the drugstore and get some blister bandages. Both work just as well, but I like these more.
