Has pros: In general, having a mouse around is beneficial for everyone. Particularly the ones that control the volume of the buttons. Cons: In my opinion, the existence of just one disadvantage nullifies the existence of any and all advantages. The button that is depressed on the mouse will be reset at regular intervals. Even on the budget models I've worked with, I've never seen behavior like that.
