I ordered two boxes in 2011 and early 2012 (same page, Amazon brought this to my attention) and they were perfect. I've just ordered a box (January 2013) and found that without warning, the company decided to replace the wooden plank with a plastic plank. If you're buying these for aesthetic reasons, to have the matching cherry wood in your closet, don't buy them. If you're buying them because you don't like pasta, don't buy them. I'm really disappointed in both Amazon and Honey-Can-Do. It's highly disingenuous to have a picture of an all-wood hanger, keep the same product page open as it was when the item was an all-wood hanger, and not mention that drastic (and cheap-looking) change. As a regular customer, I am extremely disgusted. I shop on Amazon to find what I like and then just order what I like. Convenient, hassle-free door-to-door delivery. If an item is no longer available, I'm happy to take a few extra clicks until I find a new favorite in any category. I took the time to write this because nothing irritates me more than I thought I had, only to find that the product is not as described solely due to false and misleading advertising, and then the hassle with must take responsibility for its return.
