We chose this for our older dog to see if the food was related to an advanced skin condition and that (along with a few other changes) seemed to help. . By the way, I love this food. Unfortunately, I think our dog understood that this was a 'healthy' food and responded to it with the same enthusiasm that most people on diet/health food have. She used to empty her bowl within minutes of feeding other brands, now she can eat half of her BLUE breakfast (dog 50lbs, serving 10-12oz) and the rest go untouched for most of the day until she's starving gives up . and finally eats the rest about an hour before we give her lunch (another 10-12 ounces, 2.5-3 cups per day). I know different dogs that like different foods. Although we like this food for her at this stage, our bitch is not impressed.
