My Labrador's sensitive stomach issue was resolved

My dog started having stomach problems and stopped eating (Labradoodles never refuse food). He had the same brand for many years. You could hear his stomach growling. I did a little research and one or two reviews said this limited ingredient base food is better for dogs with sensitive stomachs. We first tried him with a 50:50 mixture of old and new food and finally switched to this food completely after about 10 days. It's more expensive, but what's the price of a good night's sleep and not…

Dogs Dissatisfied: Wet

I ordered Limited Ingredient Blue Buffalo because my two small dogs had a real itch problem. They were very reluctant to try new food, but eventually they started eating it. I mean they ate the part that looks like regular dog food but little black things (I guess it was peas) that I find all over the floor. They don't like it at all. So I have to take them all out of my food before I give them so I don't step on the floor all over the place. It's not cheap dog food, so I throw most of it away…

Finally had to switch to senior food

My dog has a lot of gastrointestinal problems when he eats the wrong food. The Worst Fart Smells You've Ever Heard! I found him a good dog food that helped with these problems. He's been at it for years! I was afraid to switch it to older foods. There are few chicken-free senior food options with limited ingredients for sensitive tummies. I finally came across Blue Buffalo dog food. I was able to switch it with minimal problems. He's great at it! I can confirm this works for my dog's sensitive…

We love our dog not

We chose this for our older dog to see if the food was related to an advanced skin condition and that (along with a few other changes) seemed to help. . By the way, I love this food. Unfortunately, I think our dog understood that this was a 'healthy' food and responded to it with the same enthusiasm that most people on diet/health food have. She used to empty her bowl within minutes of feeding other brands, now she can eat half of her BLUE breakfast (dog 50lbs, serving 10-12oz) and the rest go…

Great for dogs with food allergies

My dog has been eating blue buffalo since I brought him home. I have noticed that over the last year she has become very itchy. I decided to switch her diet to Blue Buffalo Basics to see if she developed a food allergy. Of course I switched to basics and the itching/scratching stopped overnight! I've spoken to vets (3) and they said many of their patients have the same problem with blue. Your coat is so beautiful. Everyone keeps stopping us for the shine and silkiness of their fur, so it…

This food made my dog sick!

My Golden Retriever has been on the Blue Buffalo Basic diet for about 6 months and she is doing great. Until we ordered this meal through Revain. We couldn't understand why she didn't like it as much as if we bought the same food from PetSmart and Chewy.com. About 2 weeks later she got terrible diarrhea that wouldn't stop. We thought she was sick so we took her to the vet to have her checked for worms. The test came back negative. The vet gave her medication and canned medicated dog food, which

The best dog food and SAVE my Yorkie's LIVES!

My 15 month old Yorkie was having problems with his eyes. There was only one visit to the vet: Conjunctivitis: She was given medication but did not recover. Visit to the vet 2: He was bitten by a bug: medication does not help. So I didn't want to spend any more money so I examined my tail and found that the dog food we gave him and our other Yorkie, a Royal Canine, contained some harmful substances. Our breeder recommended Royal Canine and the vet oh and the vet sells crap in the office. Well…
