Little did I know that my A/C in my 2008 Mazda Tribute was slowly but surely starting to run on fans 3 and 4 only. Well when 3 failed, I definitely noticed it and I had to fix it. I researched what the problem was and looked for an estimate. I've seen offers around $140. In an attempt to become more independent and caring I decided to check YouTube to see if this would be an easy fix. Seeing how easy it was I looked for a part and found this one. It looked the same as it did on YouTube and is said to be compatible with my machine. I bought it hoping it was true. After a while it was installed as indicated in the YouTube video and lo and behold, the air conditioning worked in all rooms. A simple $15 fix and a change that saves over $100 while someone else is doing it by gathering labor. A very simple solution: the darkened circular areas on the product only had to be drilled to match.
