Review on π 1 Quart of Idemitsu ATF Type TLS-LV (WS) Automatic Transmission Fluid for Toyota, Lexus, and Scion Vehicles by Kenny Sarma
I had no problems with my 2009 lexus gs350. You need WS-Fluid, that's all.
Used on my 2009 Lexus gs350 with 60,000 miles. I missed the famous brands claiming to cover this Japanese car along with American and German cars. I don't think a layer of oil will be the best solution. This fluid is Toyota/Lexus specific and therefore the best choice. Didn't drain all the liquid but drained almost 3 liters, just repeat 2 more times then repeat at 90 or 100K. Did it about three weeks ago, no problems.
