I had a version of this little setup in my shopping cart. And, I dunno, $50 was just a hard pill to swallow. Then I found this baby for about $16. I figured heck, $16 ain't too much luck if it's junk. I was expecting mostly plastic and flimsy cheap metal. But it came and I was pleasantly shocked! It's all solid metal except for the rubber pads and rubber spacers (don't get confused, these parts must be rubber). The ratchet handle is also made of metal. And if you tighten it even a little, it doesn't move. The grip on this thing is fantastic. I have a 7" monitor that won't fall off anymore. Thanks for adding the extra black standoffs so I can smooth it out. Instant professional upgrade for $16. Unreal!
