I have noticed that my propane detector beeps when I get into my trailer. I ordered another one and it was easy to replace. There are no instructions on how to open it to get at the wires. I didn't want to break it so I tried to carefully take it apart. It seemed like something was holding him back, but it wasn't. I used a flat head screwdriver and gently nudged one side and it moved telling me to just pry them apart. When I pulled again, it came loose as intended.
