I bought this product mainly to recalibrate the speedometer on my 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (JK) as the tires are too big. I downloaded the update from the website and registered the product at the same time. Measured tires (surprisingly, 35" tires are actually 33 3/8" tall), which is between 1/4 divisions in the software. I used the 33 1/2 setting which gave me 69 mph on the GPS with 70 mph on the odometer (previously I had 66 mph on the odometer for 70 mph on the GPS). This unit has a few other options (some for the Rubicon model ONLY) and it reads and clears trouble codes, but I've heard the piece of tape over the check engine light is Jeep tradition, lol. You can buy engine tuning upgrades from the company's website. In general, the purchase is satisfied.
