My husband and I had this model 10 years ago. I was hoping this one would be just as reliable and easy to use. Unfortunately I was wrong. The body is light and the espresso handle didn't click into place like it should. It's too tight. Strait of Sort was the best we could do. Also, the main knob was hard to turn making the transition from espresso to steam messy and they REPLACED THE STEAM PLATE. This plastic nozzle now has holes in the top that force the user to fully submerge the nozzle and NOT be able to froth like a regular barista. He roasts the milk and flattens it. You should be able to place the tip higher and pull out the froth for the latte. When you do this, the milk squirts everywhere on this model. And the steam pipe gave too much strong steam and not a constant jet but uneven emissions! In my opinion, this is dangerous and also produces an inferior, bad-tasting espresso. If the steam whistle wasn't so awful it would have saved itself a 3 star rating but it is so disappointing that I want to return it. I bet they make it in China now. That.
