Convenient pens that are as thick as a sharpie. I agree with Christopher (previous review) - the light is too bright from the tip side: not like a flashlight to illuminate diamonds or a canvas. I tried covering the sides with a blacker marker but that didn't make it any easier to see the lettering on the canvas. If you completely remove the tips from the pen, it works like a flashlight (see photo), and then use the other two pens. , with tips for working. Or I just buy a better lamp or a lighted magnifying glass. I keep them because they are easy to hold, they have good quality nibs and a good storage box.
