Review on 🍽️ Rubbermaid Commercial Food Storage Box/Tote: 2 Gallon, White - Ideal for Restaurants, Kitchens & Cafeterias (FG350700WHT) by Adam Krueger

I wanted a white container with a clear lid. Specifications for each FG350900WHT 3.5 gallon and FG331000CLR 2,3.5,5G lid suitable for 18" x 12" rubber bags indicate that the lid must fit a trash can. Everything arrived in good condition but as you can see from the photos the lip of the lid that should snap inside the container is too wide. I even tried pulling on the outside of the canister to fit it. Neither side has enough returns to correct the out-of-spec conditions. Not sure what the actual problem is, but the label on the cap looks like it's a 'replacement' cap for the one I ordered. Not sure if this is the cause of the problem. I really need a lid that suits my application, so . Looks like they'll both have to come back.
