After reading some reviews I was hesitant to try this product but after receiving one and trying it I didn't understand what all the negative talk was about. I mostly use them on my glasses a few times a day and they leave my lenses clear. However, I will say that using a cleaning solution/spray will increase the cleaning effect, but it is not necessary for every cleaning. I use the spray every few times to avoid build up on edges/corners and hard to reach places. I've been using my first fabric for about a month and it's still working fine. If I have one helpful comment to add, it's about custom clothing packaging. The separate plastic bag they come in is resealed and measures approximately 7"x3". It definitely helps keep the small towel clean, but it's a bit big. I fold them in half and put them in a bum bag, which is great for organization, but it would be better if the tote bag was smaller. If you fold the towel in half again, it's about 2.5 x 3 inches, which is more convenient for storing in bags and the like. Also, the plastic bag doesn't seem to be designed for long-term, repeated use, but when folded, it works fine. And I understand these are consumables, but it would be great to have a better custom carry case. I found these towels to be comparable to those given when buying new glasses. Not to say they're the best, but they work well. Won't scratch, stain or streak.
