Review on ๐Ÿƒ Optimized Fitbit Charge 3 Activity Tracker for Fitness Enthusiasts by Joseph Cvetkovic

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Do not buy. Still

On paper, the Charge 3 has everything I could hope for in a fitness tracker. Heart rate monitoring, sleep analysis and, oh yes, waterproof! A feature that would allow me to use this potentially amazing technology for lap swimming and outdoor sports in rain and snow. I was excited. that's how it was until I received it and put it on my wrist. So: - randomly turns off (4 times I had to do a hard reset) - randomly asynchronous - inaccurate step count - battery indicator not accurate - shaky heart rate monitoring (sometimes over- and underestimated or not shown at all) - watching faces is terrible (sounds like you can only have 3 lights at a time so you can't turn on steps, time, date and heart rate (time) at the same time) - I've spent more time troubleshooting 3 charges than actually enjoying it. - The Fitbit community is slow to respond to issues. Please Fitbit just fix this so we can stop complaining. It's a dream fitness tracker with so much potential, but it doesn't live up to its current state. I will update this review once any issues are resolved. TLDR: Lots of potential but too many bugs for everyday use. Wait for it to be set for purchase.
