I hope this deters thieves.

After 2 days of use, the rubber plug on the back of the lock fell off. I hope the red color deters thieves, but this isn't a heavy lock. I use it on a golf cart. I had to drill a hole in the driver's seat support rod and connect the lock to the steering wheel through the steering wheel.
