I received this item to replace my old HDMI cable for better quality. The connection is one-way and the cable is labeled to indicate which side to connect the HDMI source and display cable. I also tried not to make any sharp bends when installing the cable. The company says if you're using a switch or splitter, test the cable first before permanently plugging in the cable for use. I have a dual monitor Wavelink HDMI USB device (available here at Revain) that supports dual monitors, and the FeizLink cable I tested runs through the Wavelink to my monitor with no problems. The fiber optic cable is much clearer and charges my monitor even faster. Both ends of the cable fit snugly into the HDMI ports with no play. This cable is definitely a satisfactory product!
