These travel kits are perfect for my 18 and 20 month olds. The handles of the forks and spoons are curved to fit comfortably in the hands and overall are the perfect size for them, not too big and not too small with room to grow. I love that they are stamped for food safety like stainless steel. So far they've been solid; We used them for about a month and they have withstood multiple drops to the floor and constant banging on the trays. The suitcases that come with it come in handy for dining out or going to Grandma's. Dishes and cupboards can be cleaned and washed. The only thing I would like to mention is that they come in an unmarked envelope so you will need to add your own gift bag if making a gift. In general I recommend for children!
