My original hair straightener has been discontinued. I've had it for ten years and it has served me well. I was looking for an upgrade when it died in a similar price range for quality. I came across mint and liked the properties. It has a silicone body that feels nice in hand, the plates don't catch on hair or cause frizz, and the buttons are crisp and everything works great, the cord rotates and has a lock to keep the straightener closed. I use it to curl and straighten my hair and it's great. It heats up very quickly and displays its temperature. The only issue I have is a design flaw that makes it easy for you to accidentally press the buttons during use. It doesn't happen often, but it can. I hope it lasts a while although I love it.
