I was reluctant to buy this as it is my third power supply to use for my Chromebook R13 in two years. Since the R13 is designed so that the USB-C cable exits the side, it's prone to snagging on things, snagging, bending, and eventually breaking. I bought a cheap replacement and it lasted about nine months, constantly pulling halfway with each movement, until it finally broke. Now about this adapter. As soon as you open the packaging you can tell that it is quality. The cable is thick and strong, and most importantly to me, the real metal section around the USB-C connector is really strong and keeps it secure in my Chromebook. It was less than ten bucks more than the cheap ones that are more likely to break, and it's worth the extra money if you won't be replacing the adapters in about 6 months. I am very satisfied with this product after a few days of use. Will update if there are issues with continued use but so far I'm very impressed and glad I did enough research to find this.
