After the original Garmin clasp broke (took about 2.5 years) I thought about replacing the entire watch strap. I hate throwing away anything that can be fixed and I wasn't thrilled that I paid $30 for a Garmin strap, especially since only the clasp broke. Also, I've read too many mixed reviews about the 3rd party replacement groups provided. Luckily I found these replacement Ruen clasps instead. They fit quite well (I never have to adjust them when running). Can't comment on durability as I've only had them for a few weeks, but even if one wears out there are 10 more to come.
