Best features are metal lamps and portable light stands. The only plastic parts of the light, such as the bracket that attaches the lights to the stands. Be careful not to break them and they will hold. My set had a top barn door that didn't stay open very well and I couldn't tighten it with a screwdriver. If that were a problem though, I would use a drop of rubber glue - something flexible - or something else to add the resistance holding the barn door in place. Many reviewers complain that these lamps are not bright enough for filming. The simplest answer is to replace the LED bulbs with brighter ones. I have used 150w LED bulbs in these lamps (see link below) and according to my light meter the light output has more than quadrupled. Because these bulbs are metal, an 18 watt bulb won't cause excessive heat - I think you could get up to 60 watts from these bulbs if such powerful LED bulbs existed. I'm sure 250 watt equivalent LED bulbs are fine as they only draw 27 watts, but two of these cost the same as a lighting kit. Without dimming/dp/B071P95X5Q
