Review on πŸ”’ Wheeled Cord Lock Stopper: Multi-purpose Cord Locks for Drawstrings, Paracord, Bags, Luggage, Shoes, Clothing, Twine & More by Jonah Koehnke

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Amazing closing force, don't expect disassembly

Good: I made a pantsuit with elastic and paracord and used them as cord locks on the paracord cord. Works as well as my tactical belt against all bending and twisting pressures from light to heavy. I especially liked these because I wanted the drawstring to be on the inside of the pants where it wouldn't be visible. This type of lock is quite thin and lies flat on the pants so it's not uncomfortable, and it's non-metallic so it doesn't get hot even on a hot summer day. Not very good: Once reassembled, they're incredibly difficult to put back in place. separately. I put a pair back to front and had to sacrifice them as unnecessary. A little diagram showing which direction they should go through the strings would be helpful (the clasp end is the narrow end. The free ends of the tip should come out of the wide end). I accidentally pulled the threads completely out of one because I didn't bother tying a knot at the ends. My husband managed to break the cord lock so I could rethread the strings, but I don't know how he did it - all I heard was a lot of grunts and growls. Neutral: I had to use a hand screwdriver to assemble to open the black part to install the white wheel, and also to insert the white wheel. However, the assembly is quite simple.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No automatic
