I had high hopes for this G-Mee Play as I wanted my son to use it. He is only 3 years old and already knows my iPad quite well. I wanted something the size of a cell phone so he could use it on his own without having to control everything he did with it. But after setting up the device, I found that it was running Android 8.1. This version was last updated in 2019. How can a company sell a device intended for children that connects to the internet and doesn't have the latest security updates? I am afraid of letting my son use this device and I do not recommend it to anyone unless G-Mee creates a new version of Android or Android Go for him. In addition, this device is very slow. So if you decide to take the risk and let your kid use it, I don't recommend running more than one application at a time.
