Installed on my 2011 Honda Ridgeline in the rear center console so my daughters have a permanent USB port to charge their iPod. The package arrived on time and well packaged. There are no instructions in the charging socket, but it is quite simple. So far everything works without problems. Of course, it is convenient to be able to connect the charging cable to a standard charging socket without an additional interface. Plus, charging is fast with a 2.1A rating. It seems like there are so many sellers of these sockets on Revain and they are all from the same manufacturer (probably China)? In any case, the installation was easier than I thought and the bushing fit right into the standard round hole with no modifications. To be honest the hardest part was figuring out how to remove the back of the plastic center console to install the charger. After figuring out how to do it using an online repair guide, I was ready to go. I just connected the spare cables to the charger and it worked. I had absolutely no new wiring work or changes to the existing wiring. Let's see how it holds up over time and the abuse of my daughters (7 and 10 years old)! For now I am happy with the purchase.
