Review on Danforth Sunflower Pewter Keyring Handcrafted by Richard Dean

Very cute and durable keychain

I really like this key ring. So much so that since the first one I've bought two more and am considering another. The product image does not match this keychain. I was concerned that the colors would be dull and cloudy, but they're actually quite rich and warm due to the sheen of the tin underneath the enamel. The enamel is smooth and pleasant to the touch. It's fairly durable, although not entirely indestructible. I have one on my keys and one on both pockets. I wouldn't say I'm rude to them, but I'm not particularly careful either. The bottom edge of the first one I bought was a little worn from scratching the bottom when I put my bag down. The enamel is a bit cracked on this one too, like my key, but the enamel seems strong enough not to snow when the rest just peels off. None of the three had even a single scratch on the enamel surface. There are some differences in enamel coverage - some have slightly more enamel and therefore a deeper color. Also, two of them have a slight gap between the two enamel colors, but not enough to spoil the look. For me, each of them just has their own character. This is a beautiful, well-made keychain. Definitely worth the price.
